Alicia Stephens is the past executive director and current interim director of the Platte County Economic Development Council. She has over 25 years of economic development experience, all of it in the Northland.  She and her husband have lived in Platte City for 40 plus years.  Ms. Stephens will share with us today about the how the Sporting Complex became a reality.
 
Parkville Rotary Board Meeting FRIDAY!
 
The next Parkville Rotary Board Meeting will be held on Friday, November 11th at 11am.  Board members should let Scott Walterbach know if they are unable to attend.

The event will begin at 3pm with our GSE Rotarians telling us about their country and their visit followed by the tailgate party. All are welcome to stay for the Chiefs game.

The Parkville Rotary Book Club - Book 3
 
Book 3 will be Dare to Lead by Brene Brown.
 
Thank you to all those who participated in reading Books 1 & 2! The goal of this group is to read a leadership or personal development type book & discuss with your fellow community leaders at Rotary.  We will discuss for 10-15 minutes or so after the meeting on Friday, December 3, 2021.
 
No need to RSVP, we’re going to keep this very informal.  We hope you’ll join us!
