Topic: Park Athletics & Current Issues in Athletics
Kristin Gillette is serving as Park University’s Director of Athletics, joining the Pirates' staff in the Fall of 2021. She previously served as Associate Director of Athletics/Compliance at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS. Prior to joining MNU, Gillette spent nine years at the NAIA in Kansas City, MO, serving as the director of Champions of Character for six years and three years managing national championships. In addition, she worked with councils and committees focused on the health and well-being of student-athletes, while also working directly with student-athletes in various national programs. Gillette also served as liaison to the NAIA's Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion Committee from 2009-17 and the New Member Site Visit Committee from 2015-17.
Gillette earned a Master of Arts degree in sports administration from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from William Jewell College. Gillette is a former NAIA student-athlete, playing volleyball and basketball at Hannibal-LaGrange University before transferring to WJC.

Parkville Rotary - Roster Update
Dalyn Novak sent out an email Friday last week with a complete Parkville Rotary Club Roster showing everyone's information as it shows in ClubRunner. Everyone needs to review their personal information so that we can verify your membership information is correct and up-to-date with Rotary International.
The link below (the blue box!!!) is the excel file everyone needs to review. Click on it to get to the excel file! Please take the time to review the excel document in the link below. Dalyn Novak & Bob Stone will thank you! :)
It's that time of year again when Joe Carroll, Treasurer, and Dalyn Novak, Foundation Chair, reach out to all members and ask if you've donated your $100 for Every Rotarian Every Year. This program, also known as EREY, asks every Rotarian to support The Rotary Foundation every year.
Even if you can't donate $100 that's okay! We just ask each member to donate what they are able to, be it $10 or $1,000 (or more)! We can dream, can't we? :)
These donations are used to directly help Rotary's 7 Areas of Focus:
Promoting Peace
Fighting Disease
Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
Saving Mothers & Children
Supporting Education
Growing Local Economies
Protecting the Environment
These are all areas that we can get behind as Rotarians! All donations for this calendar year need to be in by June 1st to Joe Carroll. Bring a check to the next meeting you attend or have Joe include it on your next invoice. Please email him at: JCarroll@wells-bank.com.
We have had 100% participation by our members in past years. Need even more information behind why? Click on the blue box below...
If you know of anyone who is wanting to sign up for our flag subscription give them this link: https://app.helpingwithflags/parkvillerotary and have them click on NEW SUBSCRIBERS. This link works for members as well and saves our club members time if you use it.
