Have you ever wondered if there was life at the South Pole? You probably know penguins live along the coast, but did you know that for the longest time, there was an entire world in Antarctica? "Dinosaurs of Antarctica" is a documentary film that explores what Antarctica looked like before the ice came and how today's scientists find and interpret the clues left behind.
Dr. Patty Ryberg, Professor at Park University, is one of three scientists featured in the documentary to explain the uniqueness and challenges of living and working in Antarctica. Dr. Ryberg consulted with moviemakers to ensure that the dinosaurs were running through the correct landscape and fossil plants were accurately reconstructed. The movie is being shown at science/natural history museums across the country as part of the Antarctic Dinosaurs exhibit.
