RYLA Speaker: Sage Butler Our speaker will be Sage Butler, a student who attended RYLA. Sage is a standout student at Blue Springs South High School, where he's maintaining a 3.97 GPA and challenging himself with courses like AP English Language and College Algebra, with graduation anticipated in May 2026. Beyond academics, Sage is deeply committed to community service: He's volunteered with youth services at New Bethel in Kansas City since 2023, building connections with children and supporting educational lessons. As an A+ Tutor at local elementary schools, he's helped young students boost their reading and math skills, even leading hands-on STEM activities. Sage also gained practical experience as a retail associate at TJ MAXX, where he excelled in customer service and team training. In his free time, he's an active member of the Symphonic Orchestra since 2019, part of the theater make-up crew, and a student at Monarch Strings Studio.
