Dear President Sandra Knoernschild,
This is Suren Poruri, District Chairman - Global Grants, RI District 3150, from India.
Your rotary club of Parkville was chartered on March 26, 1946, which is today. Your club completed 78 years service today in RI District 6040 in serving the communities across the world .
I would like to extend my warm wishes to you and to all your club members on this joyous moment.
Rotary is the only organization which has global foot print and is working towards happy communities across the world with it's noble initiatives.
Thanks to our rotary club founder Rtn Paul Harris, we are able to make a difference in the communities where we live.
Rotary clubs across the world executes service projects worth 2 billion dollars every year in their communities. Rotarians gives 25 million volunteer hours to their communities across the world every year.

Greater Kansas City Day is when our community works together for one unifying cause: to give the disabled and disadvantaged youth of our great city a chance to have a normal camping experience—one that would otherwise be impossible at other camps.

PARKING- is always FREE for Monarchs' games.
CASHLESS- we do not accept cash at Legends Field.
CLEAR BAG POLICY- each person is allowed to bring in one clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC that does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12", a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. (Some exceptions may apply)

Rotary Leadership Institute Sessions Starting Soon!
Rotary Leadership Institute will be offered in April of 2024 for all parts. The links to sign up are noted below. The cost to register is $30 per part and you are welcome to sign up for all three! Each part is made up of two nights and attendance for both nights is required for each part. These classes are all online and will be from 5:30-8:15 each night.
Rotary Leadership Institute is a great way to learn more about Rotary and get connected with some new Rotary Friends.
Once you register, I will send you a link to join the class and your materials.

It's that time of year again! Every Rotarian is asked to donate $100 each year to Rotary International. Please talk with Sandy K. or Joe if you'd like the $100 added to your next invoice. All funds need to be in to Joe in early June to count for this Rotary calendar year.

Former Parkville Rotarian Derby Juez-Perez started an Aaon podcast this past week. If you are interested in watching it click on the link below. Derby lives in Tulsa with his wife and two children.
In 1911 Paul Harris gave Chesley Perry a budget of $25.44 to mimeograph and mail a new publication, The National Rotarian, to all 2,000 Rotarians in the 23 clubs nationwide. This was the first Rotary Magazine.
The Membership Committee has been hard at work putting together new membership forms! All members can `access the forms by clicking on the blue box below which will take members to a dropbox link with the forms. Give these to potential members! The new spouse forms can be found here as well.
