Friday January 7, 2022 will be our first joint meeting with the KCI Rotary Club. We are looking for a few drivers to arrive at 11:45am & act as a pilot car for our KCI friends that have never been in the Parkville Commercial Underground.
Scott Walterbach plans to meet the KCI President, Jennifer Bergman, at that time & see who needs an escort in so they can timely & comfortably find PDL-MA.
No need to sign up, maybe just stop or slow down if you see me wave you down at the cave entrance. We may replicate the effort for the January 14 meeting if KCI expects more first-timers.
Thank you to all for all you do in the name of service! We are excited for KCI Rotary Club to join us!
Below is a link to the directions. Follow the yellow line from the campus entry to the blue circle where we meet.
The Parkville Rotary Board and Dave Rittman have reviewed the current RSVP list for the annual Snowflake Party and the current pandemic status. It was decided that it would be in the best interest of the club's members to postpone the party until the event can be held outdoors. This could happen as early as April Fool's Day.
C-Point Pavilion at Weatherby Lake could be a possible party location if the weather is favorable.
FACT: This is the second time this sad snowflake has appeared in our weekly newsletter. The first time was to notify the club of the cancelled Snowflake Party last year.
