Although we cannot meet in person easily right now we can still catch up with each other online! Please join us for a Social Chat/Networking Hour with your fellow Parkville Rotarians. There will be no formal program/ speaker.
This is your chance to catch up with everyone! What has everyone has been up to since this started in mid-March? Want to bounce ideas off of the group on how to get our group meeting in person again? Have an idea for a service project we can do?
We hope to see you there!
COVID-19 UPDATE: Parkville Rotary has been meeting virtually since mid-March due to the pandemic. Our club will continue to meet virtually until the Parkville Rotary Board determines it is again safe for our members and guests to meet in-person.
Snowflake Party - Cancelled
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our holiday fundraising event has been cancelled. This year has been extremely challenging for many charity organizations including our own. Any and all donations are very much appreciated!
Wish We Could Meet in Person?
So do we but Park University is closed to visitors and we cannot have our meetings in the underground at this time. Unfortunately we know of no other places that will allow us to meet that is also set up for Zoom for those who would like to continue staying at home/social distancing.
Parkville Rotary is a social group and this pandemic has been hard on all of us. If you have any input/feedback you would like to share please email our President, Lee McLain at lee.mclain@icloud.com.
Online Invoices Coming Soon!
The Parkville Rotary Board has been looking into online invoices through ClubRunner. We intend to start sending out invoices by email to save time and money. We will be sure to notify everyone before the first online invoice goes out so you can look for it.
World Polio Day - October 24th
Did you know World Polio Day is coming up soon? Dalyn Novak has talked with the City of Parkville and they have agreed to make a proclamation for World Polio Day at their Board of Aldermen Meeting on Tuesday, October 20th! This is wonderful news as many local cities have made similar proclamations.
Thank you City of Parkville!
