Greater Kansas City Day is when our community works together for one unifying cause: to give the disabled and disadvantaged youth of our great city a chance to have a normal camping experience—one that would otherwise be impossible at other camps.

CLEAR BAG POLICY- each person is allowed to bring in one clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC that does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12", a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. (Some exceptions may apply)

Shoes Cheerleaders in Rotary District 6040 Rotary Clubs –
Welcome to April. It is nice to connect with you again. April, means shoes season in Rotary District 6040. Thank you for your shoes efforts in our 23rd year serving together on this project.
I am grateful that so many of you ask, “Where are the shoes going this year?” Because we have the statewide Missouri effort this year, our shoes will be going to all the primary countries serviced by Buckner – Kenya, Peru, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, and the United States.
SHOES CARAVAN ----- I am excited that we are just days away from our Shoes Caravan on April 17 and April 18. More trailers than ever before.
SHOES ROLL CALL OF CLUBS (in a program slot between 9:00am and 10:30am on Saturday, April 20 at the Lake of the Ozarks Joint District Conference ----- I am excited that for the first time in 19 years we plan to hold an IN-PERSON Shoes Roll Call at the Joint District Conference for the State of Missouri (the first time was in Columbia in 2005, Rotary’s Centennial Year. I’ll be very hopeful that each club will plan to have a representative to participate in the lively Shoes Roll Call of Clubs, with over 160 other Rotary Clubs. Truly, you do not want to miss this.

It's that time of year again! Every Rotarian is asked to donate $100 each year to Rotary International. Please talk with Sandy K. or Joe if you'd like the $100 added to your next invoice. All funds need to be in to Joe in early June to count for this Rotary calendar year.
