Parkville Rotary Club Bylaws
To the full membership of the Parkville Rotary Club
One of the Board assigned tasks for this year was to review and updated the Club Bylaws - both for Parkville Rotary Club (501c4) and for Parkville Rotary Charities Inc. (501c3). That task has been undertaken, and after 4 multi hour meetings the results were unanimously approved by your Board yesterday, Friday March 10, 2023.
Attached are PDF's of these updated Bylaws for both entities for your review. While similar in some regards, they are not the same. The Bylaws had last been revised back in 2016 - but the Club has changed somewhat with new membership categories, committee structures, and some revised operating procedures. The updated Bylaws were edited to reflect those changes, and bring the Club more in line with actual operating procedures in recent years.
In my opinion there are no radical changes .. but there was significant amount of updating which is to be expected with a Club of our stature, involvement, and activities within the Community.

Now that the full Board has unanimously approved the revised Bylaws, they are being presented to the full membership with the required 10 days' notice - and thus a vote will be sought for approval at our lunch meeting Friday March 24th. Then the task of the committee will be completed.

Please mark your calendar for Saturday, April 22! We need volunteers to work the Parkville Rotary Retail Tent.
This is a wonderful event for The Parkville Mainstreet Association. Kelly Putnam the Executive Director for the Association will be leading this great fundraiser. Several volunteers are needed to make this tent work smoothly for the participants to enjoy.
Sandy K will be looking volunteers in the very near future so be ready to sign up for a two hour slot!
