Topic: Play-based Learning & Early Childhood Development
Introducing Hilltop Preschool, a ministry of Liberty United Methodist Church, where our mission is to be a Christian community where people encounter Jesus and where lives can be changed. Our early childhood program has served the families of Liberty and nearby communities since 1980. We are a non-profit outreach organization. Our staff members come with caring hearts, years of experience teaching children, parental experience and a variety of degrees in education. The Hilltop staff is committed to providing a safe and loving environment so that children can explore, grow emotionally and intellectually, and encounter Jesus in our daily lives.
Teresa Watson is the proud director of Hilltop Preschool in Liberty, MO. She's had some fun work experiences throughout her life including being a nanny, day care teacher, dance teacher, receptionist, medical assistant, medical transcriptionist, and CEO of her household. She's been married to her husband for 26 years and has three children; a daughter aged 32, a son aged 24, and a son aged 21; being their mom has been a privilege. Her greatest joy are my three granddaughters ages 5, 2 and 1!
Teresa's passion however, is working alongside some amazing teachers to bring play-based, child-led experiences to preschool-aged children during a crucial part of their lives. She will tell us more about these experiences this Friday. Please join us!
This program was organized by Scott Walterbach.
