We’re honored to welcome Erin Balleine, Executive Director of Camp Fire Heartland, as our guest speaker!
Erin serves as the founding President and CEO of Camp Fire Heartland, where she successfully led its transition to an independent nonprofit serving the Kansas City area in April 2020. Previously, Camp Fire Heartland operated as a department of Camp Fire’s National Headquarters, also based in Kansas City.
In 2020, Erin led a groundbreaking initiative to establish virtual learning sites for low-income children and children of essential workers across the Kansas City metro, bringing national recognition to Camp Fire Heartland for its innovative response to the pandemic.
Erin holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology from Boston College and Certificates in Nonprofit Management and Volunteer Management from Rollins College.
Join us to learn more about the vital role Camp Fire plays in our community and how organizations like this are shaping brighter futures for young people.
