5TH FRIDAY - NO MEETING THIS WEEK

We had a great turnout last Friday at our first hybrid meeting!  We had eighteen people attend in person and two people attend by Zoom. We will be continuing with hybrid meetings at Central Bank (45 Hwy) until the end of June at which point we will reevaluate our location.

We will see you in person or on Zoom next Friday!
COVID-19 UPDATE: Parkville Rotary is in a trial period of hybrid meetings. We hope that you find these meetings helpful in allowing more members to attend meetings at their comfort level. Hybrid meetings are scheduled to be at Central Bank until June 30th or until we hear that Park University is open to visitors.

SAVE THE DATE - MAY 14TH
TOUR OF PARK'S NEW BUSINESS SCHOOL
On May 14th, Dalyn Novak will provide the club with a tour of Park University's new Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center and School of Business during our regular meeting time. We will gather outside at the parking lot east of the McCoy Meetin' House before heading over to the new building as a group.

The building is scheduled to be completed this June. The project is being delivered by design-build with Straub Construction as the lead and WSKF Architects as their partner and design firm.  Dalyn Novak is serving as the Project Manager and lead designer for WSKF.

Masks will be required to enter the building.

EVERY ROTARIAN EVERY YEAR (EREY)

Your gift to the Annual Fund helps Rotary clubs take action today to create positive change in communities at home and around the world. Your contributions help us strengthen peace efforts, provide clean water and sanitation, support education, grow local economies, save mothers and children, and fight disease.

The Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY) initiative asks every Rotarian to support The Rotary Foundation every year. In addition to contributing to the Annual Fund on a regular basis, members are encouraged to get involved in a Foundation project or program.  This can be accomplished online via My Rotary or just search for The Rotary Foundation and the "Give Now" box.   A goal which many set for themselves is $100 per year.  It may be more or it may be less.  Let's try for 100% of our club to give something.

At the end of every Rotary year, contributions directed to the Annual Fund-SHARE from all Rotary clubs in the district are divided between the World Fund and the District Designated Fund, or DDF.  At the end of three years, your district can use the DDF to pay for Foundation, club, and district projects that your club and others in the district choose. Districts may use up to half of their DDF to fund district grants. The remaining DDF may be used for global grants or donated to PolioPlus, the Rotary Peace Centers, or another district.
