We hope to see you there!
COVID-19 UPDATE: Parkville Rotary is in a trial period of hybrid meetings. We hope that you find these meetings helpful in allowing more members to attend meetings at their comfort level. Hybrid meetings are scheduled to be at Central Bank until June 30th or until we hear that Park University is open to visitors.

After walking the building last Friday Dalyn Novak has decided to postpone the Parkville Rotary tour of the Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center. Please join us on June 18th.  More information will be provided before the tour.

Thank you for your support of Rotary District 6040 and the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund-SHARE!

I would like to invite you to spend Saturday Evening, May 22nd, with me and many of your fellow Rotarian's at the virtual Foundation Celebration via Zoom.
Each Rotarian – whether participating singly or in a group setting – is encouraged to register for the event via Club Runner to enjoy full participation in the evening’s raffles, drawings and silent-auction bidding.
Admission to the Foundation Celebration is free!  However, recognizing the enormous and vital role the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund-SHARE plays in the life of Rotary and in the District, an optional, minimum donation of $25.00 per person is suggested.
Registration is open. You can register by clicking the link below. Please have your RI member number available as you will need it to complete the registration. If your spouse/partner or guest will be attending, please input 0000 as the member number when it ask for their RI member number.
Note: For your security, Rotary does not share your credit card information with any other party. With that in mind, a separate registration and credit card input will be required to participate in raffle prizes, the Silent Auction, and other donations to the Foundation. Details will be coming soon.
I hope you will join me on Saturday, May 22nd.  The fun begins at 6:30 pm

Your gift to the Annual Fund helps Rotary clubs take action today to create positive change in communities at home and around the world. Your contributions help us strengthen peace efforts, provide clean water and sanitation, support education, grow local economies, save mothers and children, and fight disease.
The Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY) initiative asks every Rotarian to support The Rotary Foundation every year. In addition to contributing to the Annual Fund on a regular basis, members are encouraged to get involved in a Foundation project or program.  This can be accomplished online via My Rotary or just search for The Rotary Foundation and the "Give Now" box.   A goal which many set for themselves is $100 per year.  It may be more or it may be less.  Let's try for 100% of our club to give something.
At the end of every Rotary year, contributions directed to the Annual Fund-SHARE from all Rotary clubs in the district are divided between the World Fund and the District Designated Fund, or DDF.  At the end of three years, your district can use the DDF to pay for Foundation, club, and district projects that your club and others in the district choose. Districts may use up to half of their DDF to fund district grants. The remaining DDF may be used for global grants or donated to PolioPlus, the Rotary Peace Centers, or another district.
